Re: SMTP Reset at V5R4 and higher

When I was using SMTP (and pulling my hair out!  lol) when I hit a bad
address and it started looping I would, during a time when I knew no
emails were going out..

1.  End SMTP
2.  End MSF
3.  Restart MSF with the *CLEAR option
4.  Start SMTP

I no longer use IBM SMTP though...  I got sick of the looping,
impossible debugging/tracing, and getting emails from 3 years ago
suddenly appearing in my inbox.  :)
