From a DOS command line, I can perform some simple tasks on another computer. One, for example, is net time \\computername

Is there a way of doing this on the i?

We have a service on a Windows server that needs to be nudged at apparently random intervals. On that specific server, a service is stopped and restarted. We have a program on the i that can indicate whether the remote computer service needs to be nudged. What I would like to do is have that program be able to do that nudging. But, that appears to be based on understanding what happens when a net time \\computername is performed. Is that command using a networking function that the i does not have?
