Maybe. Don't know, thus the question. Which brings up this: Can the i do MAPI? And, if MAPI is needed and can be done, how is it configured? I don't see anything I can recognize as pertaining to MAPI in iSeries Navigator. We are on v5r4.

I thought Outlook used MAPI to talk to Exchange. Outlook composes the email,
and Exchange sends it. Exhange does the SMTP work.
