We're in the process of transitioning to an Agile / Scrum methodology ... lots of teething pains at the moment.

A *LOT* to get used to ... the concept of "Done DONE", sprints, stories, etc.

IMO, it's harder to use Agile for a product that has significant heritage ... because it's more difficult to isolate 'stories' into small definable tasks.

I agree with David. Additionally, the legacy database makes the test
driven development ideal... difficult. It can mean a very complete
engineered test database, with all the combinations needed to drive the
test scripts. That's not necessarily easy. There's an open-source
project that might help with TDD though - RPGUnit
