We are on V5R1. I would like to be able to save a file or library to a CD
in the optical device attached to the system. The system model is 250 and
the optical drive is a type 6321.
I tried reading the Optical Support manual, but got thoroughly embroiled in
the minutiae. The Backup and Recovery manual pointed me to the Optical
Support manual, but it did say, "The DVD-RAM optical media standalone device
supports all save and restore commands."
I tried searching the archives but could not find anything (probably used
the wrong search argument(s)).
Can I save a file or any other object straight to the optical drive from
within a CL or a QShell command?
Thanks.
