Yes, the System i email is sent to a secure email gateway which filters
all incoming email; even though the system i messages don't have to be
filtered because they're internal.  This gateway is defined as the mail
router in our system i SMTP attributes.

The gateway then forwards it to the MS Exchange server. It looks like
the delay is on the gateway, but I've been asked to help prove the delay
is not within the system i.

We're aware that it's possible to send our system I email directly to
the Exchange server if we open up relaying from our system I on Exchange
but there's a complicating factor which we're addressing in the future.
