Chuck,
There's a command out there called STRJRNLIB. It was new in 6.1. It
pretty much replaced the QDFTJRN data area. When you use STRJRNLIB on a
library then DSPLIBD will show you stuff like:
Journaling information:
Currently journaled . . . . . . . . : NO
Current or last journal . . . . . . :
Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
Journal images . . . . . . . . . . . :
Omit journal entry . . . . . . . . . :
New objects inherit journaling . . . : *NO
Inherit rules overridden . . . . . . : YES
Journaling last started date/time . :
Starting receiver for apply . . . . :
Library . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
Library ASP device . . . . . . . . :
Library ASP group . . . . . . . . :
F1 on "Inherit rules overridden" will inform you that YES means it's using
the QDFTJRN data area and not STRJRNLIB. If you do not have access to 6.1
or higher of the OS I can paste in more help.
