Let's say the folder is /this/that/other/finally. And the share is
\\myibmi\finally which goes to the finally directory. This person has to
have access to each folder /this, /this/that, /this/that/other and finally
/this/that/other/finally. Are both users using the same share? for
example are they both using\\myibmi\finally or is one using \\myibmi\root
and drilling down? The shares themselves can be set up to be read only.

A profile can be disabled for NetServer but it you can connect in enough
to see that it is unlikely to be your problem.
