Maybe the "share" defined on the Power box is set to Read Only (???)

Subject: Authority when writing images to DASD on the POWER box.
I have a user that stores their images on DASD on the POWER box.
I added their PC user to the user profiles on the POWER box.
I added the authority of that user to the authority of the directory on the POWER box.
It will not write images. There is another profile with the exact same authority DTAAUT(*RWX) and OBJAUT(*ALL) that works fine. I had the user setup an account for the one that works and she can scan and write images.
If I go in via windows explorer with the profile that will NOT write images, I cannot copy and paste an image.
I can get to the POWER box and explode the directory via windows explorer, so it lets me in that far ok.
If the passwords did not match, I would think it would challenge me for a valid account and password.
So I know it is not my PC scanning software since windows explorer fails too.
