5250 is a different animal. For example, does that user profile have an
"initial program"? We use BPCS (aka ERPLX) from Infor. The first thing
their initial program does is set up the library list. Do a DSPUSRPRF of
the user who scheduled the job. What is their Job Description? If you do
a DSPJOBD of that job description what is the library list? What is the
Message logging:
Level . . . .
Severity . . .
Text . . . . .
look like? You may wish to set it at
4
0
*SECLVL
and let the job scheduler try it again. Then, when it is complete look at
the generated joblog. You should see something in there which may
indicate why you are not getting the message.

Another way to check for the initial program issue, if the user is not
restricted from the command line then signoff. At the sign on screen, for
"Program/procedure" type in *NONE. As soon as you get to the command line
type in DSPLIBL.
