I see your point. I guess it depends if he qualified the command in the CMD keyword of the ADDDJOBSCDE command. It would be good to see the whole command.

But that's another good reason to do the empirical test I recommended; just see if the scheduler is scheduling. It could be going to a job queue that isn't released, a subsystem that isn't started, etc.

Perhaps the scheduled job never ran...
