Perhaps the target system has hit the storage limit such that the
incoming distributions are not being delivered so no receipt details are
being sent back. Perhaps a tiny distribution or a non-secured [assumed
that no user-id available per no "liaison on the target system"] SNA
request using the default-user can feedback some information about the
status on the remote system and queues; e.g. use of SBMRMTCMD over a
DDMF. Since QUSER is is likely the default user and unlikely in the
distribution directory, probably the easiest test, i.e. SNDNETMSG to the
originating system, is not possible as a test. If you have access to
run under a user [even if only batch] for which a secured connection can
be effected, that might be an alternative.
