With the green saying it may improve performance. I have put SSDs in at dozens of accounts, and they have been fantastic. I would recommend being on 7.1, as I think the OS is better at handling SSDs (or spreading the data onto them).

What kind of SSDs are they? SLC or MLC? Any information on how long they last? Because the MLCs are notoriously short-lived. A lot of that depends on the data use algorithms.
