Chris, Well, binary was simple, and effective!

Scott, As far as getting the CCSIDs right in the first place, again, it's
a canned software vendor issue - IBM.

Chuck, Since I was doing it from dos command prompt it didn't like type c;
type ascii maybe. Even tried quote type c 1252. That didn't flash any
error but the results were gibberish.

Probably a pctech list issue but I'd also like to tell filezilla to use
binary for these cases also. How so?
