John,
I suggest you:
1) discover the version of "AS/400" you are a junior admin of
2) create a link to the IBM i Information Center for your release

The following is the link I use for the server where I spend most of my time:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v7r1m0/index.jsp

Subject: AS/400 Administration Commands

Hi All,

I  joined as Junior AS/400 Administrator in a company.

I tried to get knowledge from google and  PDF but no joy, I was just wondering where to start and end.

Right now my role is to monitor the jobs and some basic trouble shooting...

I know this knowledge is not enough.

Can some one please share admin commands or PPT to a good start...

Thanks in advance

Regards,
John
