I wondered how the heck you found that. I had googled "ibm i api finder"
to find the API finder. Did all kinds of searching and found nothing.
After your post I even searched on QDFRPRTA in the API finder and found
nothing.

Then I noticed the API finder that came up at the top of the original
google search was for V5R4. I love Mondays.

Subject: Retrieve print file attributes API
Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx

All,

Is there an API to retrieve print file attributes? I cannot find one.

I have the TAA tools which have a RTVPRTFA command. I tried retrieving
the
source for that CL program to see what API it uses and the source is not
available. Then I noticed in the documentation for the RTVPRTFA command
that it uses an outfile to retrieve the information, so maybe there is no
API . . .

Thanks.
