You mean like this easy function available once you dump OPNQRYF and start
using embedded SQL?

Frankly I really do not see a reason to use OPNQRYF for new code
(providing your company's not too cheap to shell out for 57##-ST1). Unless
of course, you're 7 months away from retirement and learning something new
is something you've been trying to avoid for the last 15 years.
