I swear, the whole business of "Pure" as the name of a line of computers
sounds vaguely like something that would appeal to racists. Especially
(as in the thread's subject heading) when coupled to the word "power."
(There was a Mork & Mindy in which Mork encountered a racist group whose
slogan was "pure power." When he finally understood what they were all
about, he showed them "pure power," trashing their meeting room, and
causing an odd transformation to come over them: when they removed their
Klan-like hoods, they found that they were all different colors. Mostly
colors that don't normally occur in Humans.)
