Yes I strongly suspect there is no 'hard stop' on doing this with a four 
core, at least not from a 'would it function' standpoint. However I 
guarantee that it puts you into an 'Unsupported Configuration' situation 
and then if you call for support IBM may very well exercise the clause 
in your contract that says you must remove all items from the 
configuration that are unsupported before they will help you. Clearly 
removing much of your disk capacity wouldn't be good for continued 
operation of your system. :-)
