Yes, exactly. As this discussion shows, different groups have different
requirements. It's a very nice thing that IBM i accommodates us all so
readily!

But if someone ran EDTOBJAUT and let BECKY have access to the file does
that count as "tweaking"? Did they add this line to the sql source?
GRANT ALTER , DELETE , INDEX , INSERT , REFERENCES , SELECT , UPDATE
ON ROB.AAAKEY TO BECKY WITH GRANT OPTION ;
This does show up with the generate sql api and iNav.

That's good to know! I need to go test to see what iNav does with
authorisation lists and authority granted 'in ye olde days' via GRTOBJAUT.

And just to rub vinegar into a wound, how would you do this with DDS? ;-)
