I was referring only to default current timestamp

I know there is a difference between the 2.

WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!!!
There is a STRONG difference between
row change timestamp
and
with default current timestamp.

row change timestamp could not give a tinkers dam what RPG does. It will
supply the current timestamp.
However, when you use 'with default current timestamp' RPG is supplying a
value so it no longer needs to default it to current timestamp.
