Several of us have tried saves to DVD on IBM i. I've found it to be
incredibly slow. Is it slower than
. Save to virtual optical
. transfer of virtual optical iso or bin to pc
. burn of .iso or .bin file to physical optical
?
I don't know. I never intended to have a bootable disc. At the time I
just wanted to archive off an old library to DVD. Much cheaper than tape.
But, by golly, was it SLOW!
