I second this option...

When I was at a large company, I requested and my manager had to approved
being included in an unrestricted group giving me access to otherwise block
sites.

For an IT professional, there's lots of good info on youtube and blogs
which are blocked for regular users.

Take that as an effort by IBM to convince your management that YouTube

We use WebSense to block what our censors deem is inappropriate material.
If I show a business need for a website an exclusion is often made for me.
Like YouTube. You can always ask.

Does your company also have a guest wireless account? We have that for
customers and vendors visiting on site and need to use their PDAs. Can
you latch onto that with your PDA?

How useful of IBM to put the introductory videos on YouTube which is
blocked on my company's system (and, I suspect on many others')!

Greetings, if you have an IBM i 7.1 system, then by default you do have
IBM Navigator for i. The new Web based navigator is shipped as part of
the IBM i operating system. I would certainly recommend that you have
the
latest HPPT server PTF Group level, to access. Make sure the ADMIN
servers are running. STRTCPSVR *HTTP SERVER(*ADMIN)

Once the servers are up and running, then go to your browser, and enter
http://hostname:2001

That will direct you to the Web based navigator. You then have access
to
view your spool files.

The other option.....the new Access Client Solution. Within this new
interface there is a new print view, You can view your spool files from
there too. Even better, you can access both your 7.1 and your 5.3
systems.
(technically, the tools does not support 5.3, but I do know its does
work)
Here is the home page for ACS -

subject: AFP Viewer without iSeries Access or Navigator

I have access to a V5R3 and V7R1 machine. However, I do not have
iSeries
Access or Navigator.

What are the options for viewing AFP spool files on Win7/64?

Thanks.
