Rob, it's possible to hire people on various free lancer sites. there's
some folks from all over the world. I found that
however, same issue as the poster sort of, I had been away from Iseries for
several years, and not only that
but was back at a shop using code from the early 1990's. Cost wise, it's a
little higher to get a decent person, rates for people in India, some who
had worked in the US, was $25/hour basically for a reliable person, others
were at 15 but
they didn't always show up. For US guys, rates were about $40/hr & up. For
typical RPG programming work, help to do code for someone who didn't recall
and probably wasn't that strong the first time around. Probably the OP can
post his need on a freelancer site and someone will find a place for him,
for pay. JOel, what were you thinking to pay per hour to keep program going
or so?

There are a few time share websites out there. Like

I've often wondered if there would be a site for people to do stuff like
"hey I need a utility to ... Would $20 be enough". Some small stipend to
make the hobbyist feel that people appreciate their work. IDK if this
would fly on the consult400 list at the midrange.com website.

Good Morning Ya'll

I will be starting a new job soon, where I will not be working on an
Iseries or programming in RPG. Is there way or website where I can work
on
my skills??

Have a Blessed Day
