Do you have a four core 720 or a 'More core' 720?

If you have a four core machine then you are limited to what you can put 
"inside" the machine. This include 8 drives in the front of the machine 
and there are some SSD Cards you can put inside.

You may also attach a SAN to a 4 core. This may be what your BP is thinking.

If you have a 'more core' (than 4) then you can attach external disk in 
5887 drawers for example.


Lesson for the day class: UNDERSTAND when you are purchasing your 
machine what it means when you get a P05 tier system. We ALL understand 
the part about "Your IBM i Purchase Price and SWMA are cheaper" but too 
often we miss the part about "Your expandability is severely limited."
