In short terms, it's a manual process.

But basically, I would think long and hard about generating the simplest
of reports versus just generating an excel option.
Just stuff that was written for the boss and I are getting converted. And
it even makes sense. It's the boss pushing this.
For example I have this report:
Size Size Growth Growth
Directory mm/dd/yy mm/dd/yy Actual %

It was coming out alphabetically.
With Excel if I want to sort it by old size, new size, actual growth, %
growth... I can.
And the boss often requests graphs and what not added also.
I will say, your choice of column header formats often change. For
example line one and line two could have been inverted but when you think
of sorting by column name versus column number you like this way better.
