Greetings. Need to chime in. The IBM option for replacing WRKQRY is the IBM DB2 Web Query Product. I would certainly disagree with comment on 'high priced'. The pricing model was changed a few years back now to be a flat price per core. A single core is very reasonable and core based pricing makes it very attractive for any larger systems. The other thing to note, the IBM DB2 Web Query product is a full function product giving you dashboard, all sorts of charting capability, the capability to read directly from your old QUERY/400 queries as a quick start, along with wizards to simply creating a set of reports from existing data. For details see http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/i/db2/webquery/ The latest addition to this family is the Data Migrator product! Easily move data from DB2 for i into another IBM i or to EXCEL. The Data Migrator function also give you the ability to transform the data as needed. http://www-01.ibm.com/common/ssi/cgi-bin/ssialias?subtype=ST&infotype=SA&appname=STGE_PO_PO_USEN&htmlfid=POJ03298USEN&attachment=POJ03298USEN.PDF#loaded Tim Rowe, timmr@xxxxxxxxxx Business Architect Application Development & Systems Management for IBM i IBM i Development Lab, Rochester, MN (507) 253-6191 (Tie) 553-6191 http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/i/are/index.html
