I do not believe that any drives in the CEC can be supported by a card with a battery.

The Large Cache card uses Flash and no batteries.
The split backplane options have no cache and thus need no batteries

On non-guested SUSE linux on Power 6 we used these steps to check cache
battery life:
Start a putty session to that machine.
- Run the utility by typing iprconfig
- Select work with disk unit recovery
- Select work with resources containing cache battery packs
- Select the adapter and type 1. Then press enter to display battery
information.

How do I do this on VIOS on Power 8? Or, do even the drives in the CEC
not have cache batteries?
