We also use a Windows domain controller.
Currently our local domain is 'dekko-1'. While a dash is supported by the
specs and RFC's, we're finding some applications aren't following the
specs. We're trying to phase in a new 'local' domain of corp.dekko.com.
Don't try local.dekko.com. Apparently that 'local' causes some issues and
I've forgotten where that is documented.
Our NetServer properties still list dekko-1 for all lpars. I had to
double check. I was hoping some of the newer lpars had the new domain.
I'm hoping there's some way to phase this in so I am interested in how you
resolve this.
