Hi,
This is my first attempt at creating a PDF directly from an IBM i spool file. I first ran my process to create the spool file like normal and then I used the CPYSPLF command to create the PDF on the IFS. When I did this, the PDF was created using the CourierStd font and it filled the page. The page size was 13.19 x 11.0 in. It looked good. So, I used the OVRPRTF command to direct the report directly to a PDF. When I did this, it used ArialMT and TimesNewRomanPSMT. The page size was 14 x 11 and the text only filled 3.6 inches of the page width. It looks tiny on the page.
So, how do you control the font and font size that it uses to create the PDF? Do the properties of the printer file control anything?
