In implementations I've seen here, 'XXX' is SFLPAGE value + 1. The +1 lets
you know if there's "More..." past the current subfile page.

first XXX rows.

But you'd probably want to do a block (aka multiple-row) fetch from a
cursor:

​fetch from mycursor
for XXX rows into :myarray;
