I just got a report that a customer using our terminal emulator is getting a "d9 72 40 00 FF EF" in the data stream, which the 5494 Functions Reference defines as "Write Structured Field: Query Station State," and it goes on to say something about workstation customizations.

I've never encountered this before, don't know how to respond to it, and don't even know how to rig something to send it (short of building it as a user-defined data stream, which could take quite some time).

Can anybody offer insights?
