Smells like a library list issue.  Is the batch run calling the exact
same CLP?

Yes; x'25' is carriage return, the record separator.
Some ASCII files use '0d25', some just use x'25'  It depends on whether
the file came from Microsoft, Linux, mainframe, etc.
