BRMS prefers the virtual tape approach over save files.
For example, I can save to a virtual volume, let's say VRT001. Later when
I do a DUPMEDBRM to a physical volume I can still do a
WRKOBJBRM and see that my IIM file in my ERPLXF library is now on physical
volume BR0574 and it was saved on 3/10/16 and that tape is currently
stored at Iron Mountain.
I actually this for a 'remote' system. I ftp the image catalog locally
and DUPMEDBRM it and (with the right options of BRMS) installed it keeps
track of all this. Pretty cool.
