For all practical purposes, anything that can be run on the i can be
launched from CL. If a native command is not provided, you can try QSH
(as Jim suggested). And if for some reason Qshell is not adequate, you
can call QP2SHELL or QP2SHELL2, which are the "genuine article" PASE
shells, specifically meant for use from CL or other "native i"
languages.

For the case of Python, there is one from IBM which runs in PASE and a
third-party one which is a native i program. That latter one includes
a CL command to launch the Python interpreter.
