ASP2 is part of SYSBASE and will not be readable by another
LPAR. Only IASPs with a PowerHA set up could do what you
described.

How much complication would I cause myself if I wanted to do a
copy of just ASP#2 so I could move some libraries around
between systems using Flash Copy ? So not a Full System Flash
Copy, just a specific set of LUNs.
I'm figuring option (2) would cater for that; presumably it's
a matter of getting keys exchanged and then just running a
script ?
