I don't use the FTP option because IBM does not offer an FTP for many
including FSP/Microcode/Licensed Programs.listen to
I would far far prefer FTP but the folks at IBM just don't seem to
our repeated, clear, unambiguous, strongly worded, (add any furthermany
qualification you can think of) requests to offer FTP as an option for
of the places that don't currently offer it.Kevin

They have a notice up that things are not good, points for that. I
even download an FSP firmware update with Download (!$#!$%!$!)as
Director
of a couple of minutes ago.That sucks, but why are you using Download Director? I would suggest
choosing FTP downloads and using a plugin like Firefox's DownThemAll:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/
Much better download manager than Download Director.
