sftp -vvv targethost
That should give you a bunch of output. Of course it will probably break
your expect script.

Yes using DNS but DNS reports only one IP address for them.
It doesn't even attempt to connect though. NO log output, appears the
shell script doesn't even run. Completes in < 1 second in that case.

To directly answer your question, they don't support key exchange.
UerrID and password only.
The odd part is that it either works flawlessly or appears not to even
make an attempt.
