I know better than to comment based on memory alone [rather than first performing a review]! My recollection of SYSDUMMY1 in SYSIBM being a VIEW, is easily shown to be incorrect; that object is clearly a physical SQL TABLE. Apologies for the mis-references; but that mis-identification of the type of file does not debase any of my other commentary.
