That's what I am wondering.
I do not know what is cable is used for so I don't know if the pins are mapped the same way.

I google that part and I am not finding anything.

If the cables are identical, except for the gender of the 9-pin connector, would a gender-changer be easier than a cable swap?

Hi All,

I want to connect the UPS to the Power 8. It needs cable 00FV631.

In the box of goodies that came with the new box is a cable 00RR370.

It looks the same as the 00FV631 except of the 9 pin connection is female instead of male.
Any ideas what the 00RR370 is used for?
