+1 - we did this before going to 7.3 (on development LPAR so far) - then 
I was able to change the JVM in use with things like SQL2JXL and the POI 
stuff - we were using JVM 5 & 6 at 7.1, tested with both JVM 7 & 8 on 
the 7.1 box to ensure we could make stuff work.
