Incorrect. CALLP means and has always meant "Call a Prototyped Procedure
or Program"

You're thinking of CALLB - Call a Bound Procedure
C CALLB 'MyProc' MYPLIST

Used to call procedures before we had prototypes.

I'd agree that actually coding
callp MyProc('Hello');

Is silly, but that's not the same as saying "CALLP is obsolete"
