Nope, and I haven't had any issues. What's the downside? The command help doesn't sound like it would be a bad thing.

I do a "DLTPTF *ALL" every month after applying PTF's, with PTF's at *TEMP.
When was the last PERM apply of PTF's? That's supposed to free disk space.
