OK, if that's what you are doing why not just get BRMS network, set that up
and you don't have any of the honking around trying to figure out what tape
was just used. BRMS will already know.

After the backup of our prod system we will programmatically move our tape
lib over to the dev system and restore a couple of libs so that the
programmers can have fresh prod data on their dev machine daily.
