Right, this confirms that Mono is not *quite* as easy to install as
Python 3, because you have to set up the repo file first. But I'll
admit that the hardest part is knowing what a "repo file" is and why
it's necessary. (And getting the necessary permissions if you don't
have them.)
The IBM repo file is already included, so packages from there can be
installed while remaining blissfully ignorant of that aspect of yum's
operation (which I was).
