Try this:

     A            TABBY 10I  B  5 20
     A  99N99                               DSPATR(UL)

This will create a 10-character field that they can tab to but will not 
allow data entry.  It's not perfect.  For some odd reason, they can 
still hit the field exit key to clear the field.  But it's the closest 
thing I've found to date.
