I've given up on this. Looks like it could be doable but a bit too complex.
Will probably go for either an IBM SAN that supports IPL and replication or
use local drives and something like Mimix to replicate between the two
servers. And add a VTS to each site for backup.

That's the reason for IPLing off the SAN. To support DR. I come from the
mainframe world where we have no storage on the host it all being on the
SAN which the host IPLs off and if continuously replicated to the DR

site.
