Hi Jay

At a previous employer we ran into what I have to call gouging at SoftLanding - after their acquisition by, I believe, by Unicom - previous agreements with the founder were ignored, for example.

Anyhow, old story long gone. As to alternatives, you have heard of PTC and Aldon. Another couple possibilities include Arcad, which also has forays into DevOps using git and Jira and other tools.

There is something from a company called Midrange Dynamics - several people there used to work at SoftLanding. There was also a product from Europe whose name I forget now.

And IBM Rational Team Concert is an option - IBM have put in the support for dependencies on IBM i, it ties in nicely with RDi. Worth a look, too, I think.

Good luck!
Vern

So, we are exploring alternatives.

Could have up to 10-20 iseries devs working on the code base (which is
large - hundreds for files/tables and thousands of pgms)

Any suggestions?

Is there a sharp learning curve for github enterprise (pro), compared to
what we are used to now with TO?
