We replaced our raised floor tiles some time ago. There's aYears and years ago, before we moved to Costa Mesa, and the company was still out in the wilds of Lake Forest, we had a raised floor in the computer closet. We built it ourselves, from 2x4s and 3/4" plywood. It ain't rocket science, and no need to worry about rogue zinc crystals.
phenomenon called 'zinc threads'. These form on galvanized metal,
such as that found on the bottom of computer room tiles.
