So you have up to 12GB read cache on the controller (maybe for writing) + RAM on the host.

But when your guest LPAR(s) going to do heavy write, your poor 5 disk set is going to die...

I have two 57CE's. Assigned to the hosting lpar of IBM i. Each connects to a 5887. One 5887 has 22 19B1 disks. The other has five 59DD disks
